A little story.

Linda and I met for a Coke at Wendy’s a few days ago.  When I paid for them, she said I should have asked for the senior discount.  I argued that we have not yet reached that ripe old age, and then asked the boy who served us “How old do you have to be to be a senior?”  His answer:  17.

Maybe you had to be there.

The Sand Mandala

The Monks working.jpg   A couple of weeks ago a group of ten Tibetan monks came to the AMNH for a program connected with The Brain, the exhibit I am working in on Fridays.  One of the things they did was build a sand mandala, and I took a photo of them hard at work.  They were working in Birds of the World, and when I walked through there yesterday, the air was thin in their absence.  They went home last week.
