        I’ve been waiting for perfect snowman snow, and finally, we got some–about 8 inches of it in the last 24–along with lots of rain and sharp needles falling from the sky. The backyard photo was taken at about 7 this morning, the snowman at 8.  The snowman would have been much larger if the snow didn’t weigh about a pound a teaspoon.  With another 10 inches forecast for tomorrow, he might grow, though.
